The Principality of Monaco will host the Monaco Athletics Festival on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. This is the first edition of this new urban athletics event that celebrates the high jump: a spectacular and free sporting competition, open to all on the Quai Albert Ier.

Lasting approximately 16 minutes, it will be visible from Quai Albert 1er, where a secure sound zone will be accessible via 7 access points.

As part of celebrations marking Saint Devota's Day, members of the public are invited to watch the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament from a secure area on the concourse of the Place Sainte-Dévote, where the ceremony will be shown live on a big screen. Corsican singers will perform at the beginning of the evening. Spectators can then move to a specially designated area on Quai Albert Ier, to see the symbolic boat burning. Afterwards, an eight-minute drone show will light up the skies, illustrating some of the key moments in Saint Devota's life.

In partnership with AS Monaco sports club, which celebrates its centenary in 2024, Monaco City Hall is set to host rap stars Bigflo & Oli on stage at Quai Albert-Ier. Supporting the brothers from Toulouse will be artist Olympe Chaber, who will take the stage at 9 pm to warm up what is already expected to be a huge crowd. Admission by invitation only.
