Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, 2024/2025 season, under the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover - "Grigory Sokolov Recital". Grigory SOKOLOV, Piano. Programme: TBC.
Discover Italian dramatic soprano Chrystelle Di Marco for the first time in Monaco.
Leaving the opera stages of the world behind for once, Chrystelle joins artistic directors Katherine Nikitine and David Lefèvre to explore the life and work of the greatest diva of the 19th century, the Sarah Bernhardt of singing, a legend, a mystery: La Malibran.
Music, Maestro!
The artistic directors of Concerts de la Voûte, Katherine Nikitine and David Lefèvre, regularly perform with the excellent cellist Alexandre Fougeroux. Originally from Toulouse, Alexandre graduated with honours from the CNSMDP (Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris) and is principal cellist with the OPMC. As young as he is talented, this musician with exceptional listening skills and unlimited technical abilities blends into their trio with naturalness and brio.
Together they will present some of the most beautiful works from the French chamber music repertoire!
David Lefèvre, violin
Alexandre Fougeroux, cello
Katherine Nikitine, piano
Join two of the leading musicians from the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra: star cellist Thierry Amadi, principal cellist of the OPMC, and David Lefèvre, principal violinist and super soloist of the same OPMC.
Colleagues on stage and friends in real life, Thierry and David will be performing their interpretation of Kodaly's sublime Duo for Violin and Cello this evening.
This will be followed by Shostakovich's jubilant Sonata for Cello and Piano and Sergei Rachmaninoff's immortal Trio Élégiaque.
You can meet the artists at the end of the evening for a vodka tasting!
