MONACO -- What if a walk could become a memory in itself?

On Saturday, 12 September 2026, Isabell Kristensen Couture brings you Forget Me Not: an inaugural five-kilometer journey through Monaco created in support of AMPA, the Association Monégasque pour la Recherche sur la Maladie d’Alzheimer.

Born from Danish designer Isabell Kristensen’s personal experience losing her father to Alzheimer’s disease less than one year ago, Forget Me Not transforms a simple walk into an uplifting celebration of the people, places and moments that shape our lives.

The event invites the Monaco community and international guests to walk together in honour of someone they love, remember or wish to celebrate.

At its heart is a simple belief: some memories deserve to be walked for.

Memory Through Couture

More than a fundraising walk, Forget Me Not has been conceived as a distinctly Monégasquevexperience at the intersection of couture, well-being, art and philanthropy. Along the route, a series of carefully imagined Memory Moments will awaken the five senses, encouraging participants to pause, connect and experience Monaco in a new way.

Fashion, music, movement, art and unexpected discoveries will unfold throughout the morning, creating an elegant and joyful experience designed to celebrate memory rather than simply reflect upon it.

For more than thirty-five years, Isabell Kristensen has created couture for an international clientele. Her designs have accompanied royalty, celebrities and discerning clients on some of life’s most meaningful occasions; moments remembered not only through photographs, but through feelings.

A Journey Through Monaco

The morning will begin at the Isabell Kristensen boutique in Monaco-Ville, where participants will gather, and be invited to dedicate their walk to someone they love, remember or wish to honour. From there, the route leads participants through some of the Principality’s most evocative settings, with each location becoming part of the story.

At Place du Palais, a speaker will reflect on the connection between memory, place and celebration.

The setting carries particular significance for Isabell Kristensen, who had the honour of serving as Maid of Honour at the wedding of Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. That unforgettable celebration remains part of Monaco’s collective memory.Against this iconic backdrop, models wearing Isabell Kristensen couture ponchos joined by ballet dancers will bring fashion and movement to the experience.

The journey will continue towards the exquisite Princess Grace Japanese Garden, where guests will discover the event’s own interpretation of Memory Lane. Here, a playful treasure hunt will unfold, with a single clue leading guests towards a necklace of natural sapphires and diamonds hidden among the garden’s greenery.

The Final Moments

After five kilometers, participants will return to the Isabell Kristensen boutique for the final chapter of the morning.

A champagne toast and sweet treat will mark the beginning of the closing celebration.

The celebration will unveil a short movie, woven from personal video dedications sent by friends of the

House, each offering their own reflection on memory.

The morning will culminate in the presentation of the first Forget Me Not Award, a sculpture created by a young female artist, in honour of a life's work that has given millions of people unforgettable memories.

The inaugural recipient, whose legacy needs no introduction, will be revealed on the day.

A Walk to Remember

Forget Me Not is ultimately more than the distance travelled.

It is about remembering the people who have shaped our lives, celebrating the moments that stay with us, and bringing together a community in support of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and the families who stand beside them.

LEIBISH — Founded in 1979 and internationally recognized for its rare, natural-coloured diamonds and bespoke jewelry, LEIBISH created the treasure at the heart of the Japanese Garden hunt and will contribute a gemstone to the

inaugural Forget Me Not Award, designed by artist Talia Zoref.
