From 1 July to 6 September 2026, Grimaldi Forum Monaco presents "Monaco and the Automobile, from 1893 to Today", a major exhibition dedicated to over 130 years of automotive history in the Principality. Located at Espace Ravel – Grimaldi Forum Monaco, it brings together over 50 iconic vehicles and rare archives, including numerous cars that won the Monaco Grand Prix and the Monte Carlo Rally.
This exhibition in tribute to Victor Brauner (1903-1966), a major figure in international surrealism, presents for the first time an exceptional private collection established in Monaco that encompasses the artist's entire body of work, from the 1920s to the 1960s, spanning painting, drawing and sculpture. Complementing over one hundred and sixty works from this collection, ten non-Western art objects that belonged to Victor Brauner are on display, loaned by the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne Métropole.
